Endorsement of, participation in and approval of external organizations

In July 2023, we joined United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ), which is a local network of UNGC in Japan.

In July 2023, we expressed our agreement with Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Our company was certified as an excellent corporation in terms of health-oriented management in 2023 (in the large corporation section) by Nippon Kenko Kaigi for two consecutive years, because our company was recognized as an enterprise that implements initiatives for maintaining and improving health while considering the health management of employees and others, which is promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, from a managerial perspective.

Our company was certified as an enterprise that conducted earth-friendly maritime transportation in 2008, in the “Eco-Ship Mark” system for choosing enterprises that contribute to modal shift by using the maritime transportation promoted by the Maritime Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to some degree.

“Kyushu Factory of S.T. Corporation” was certified as an enterprise with Eco-Rail Mark in 2015, because it transported cargoes by rail in an environmentally friendly manner, in the “Eco-Rail Mark” system for choosing enterprises that contribute to modal shift by using the rail freight transportation promoted by the Railway Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to some degree. In addition, “SHOSHURIKI FOR ROOM” and “DRYPET COMPACT,” which are manufactured at the factory, were certified, and then in 2023, “SHOSHURIKI FOR TOILET” was certified.
