The S.T. Group recognizes the importance of appropriately protecting personal information, and we take the following measures to that end.
- When obtaining personal information, we do so by appropriate means, first explaining how the information will be used. We use such information only for the stated purpose.
- We take all reasonable security measures to guard against unauthorized access to personal information obtained and other risks such as loss, destruction, modification or disclosure of the information.
- We comply with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations.
- We manage and protect personal information appropriately, having established a committee responsible for personal information-related matters and appointed a personal information officer, in addition to personal information supervisors in each department. We will maintain this framework for the protection of personal information by conducting the necessary training to ensure implementation and by making ongoing improvements.
